We are a part time sailing school offering very reasonably priced and highly qualified sailing tution and race training at both Poole and Christchurch harbours during the season at your convenience. Our popular very intensive one day tution course can get you sailing very quickly and very safely, or if you prefer a more formal approach you can take one of our set courses. We operate seven days a week, rain or shine, from the 1st July to 30th September (weekends only at other times) and run our courses when you want to take them. At weekends during the season we can often be found directly on the water in Poole harbour, next to shell bay beach.

We are running some informal weekend sailing hours in various boats during the season, with an instructor in the boat with you for hands on tips to perfect that new skill. Whether you are a new or experienced sailor this is a great way to have fun and learn new techniques at the same time. WE TEACH YOU THE FUNDAMENTALS OF DINGHY SAILING FROM RIGGING UP, LAUNCHING, BASIC SAILING TECHNIQUE, CAPSIZE DRILL AND LANDING - WE ALSO GIVE YOU A LITTLE BIT OF CLASSROOM STUFF ABOUT SAFETY AND THE WATERWAYS - ON THIS 4 HOUR INTENSIVE TASTER COURSE. SET ON THE SUN DRENCHED (HOPEFULLY) SHALLOW WARM WATERS OF POOLE HARBOUR, IT'S A HARD LIFE!

 

THIS COURSE IS IDEAL FOR THE ABSOLUTE BEGINNER, OR IF YOUR BUYING YOUR FIRST BOAT AND JUST WANT TO GET ON THE WATER QUICKLY AND SAFELY.

                                                                                                                                                                                                       

THIS IS A VERY INTENSIVE SHORT COURSE SAILING WITH A QUALIFIED RYA INSTRUCTOR IN A LASER PICO AND WILL TEACH YOU ALMOST ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET STARTED AND COSTS ONLY £60.00 PER PERSON ALL IN . PLEASE NOTE UNDER 18's WILL NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY THEIR PARENT/GUARDIAN (THIS IS FREE OF CHARGE EVEN IF IN THE BOAT)
