We run from the safe, warm and shallow water locations of both POOLE/SANDBANKS and HISTORIC CHRISTCHURCH harbours, in the summer at Sandbanks it's like being on the med! These are enviable locations and enable students to learn to sail very quickly and very safely, in beautiful surroudings.

Our mission statement is clear, we want to open up and introduce the sport of dinghy sailing to as many people as we can, and show that it doesn't have to be an expensive elitist sport, but one that is affordable and accessible to anyone keen enough to learn. We are after all a very successful sailing nation, with many free public slipways to our waters not just those reserved for sailing clubs. You can just put your boat on your car or trailer and your off, and you never know there could be another undiscovered Paul Goodison out there!

We offer both individual and group/family dinghy sailing intruction to all levels and all abilities. More often than not you will be hands on with an instructor in the boat with you, helping you all the way to a fast learning curve. We follow the RYA training syllabus* and specialise in teaching both beginner sailing and advanced race training. Whether you want to obtain formal sailing qualifications, learn race technique in a Laser, or simply just want to learn to sail a dinghy and get straight on the water, we can help you.

Poole Harbour Slipway (next to East Dorset Sailing Club)

Sailing tuition is by appointment to suit you at either of our operational locations (subject to some tide times) and can be if you wish individually tailored to your needs, not just a set criteria as with most instuctional courses. You can learn as fast or as slow as you like this way, and we promise it want cost the earth either. By not paying for permenant waterside residence and the associated costs, we can keep our fees down and pass the savings onto you. Please email us with your particular requirements. We run our courses from 1st April to the 31 October, rain or shine!** Courses are re-booked if the wind speed however is to high for a particular level.
